“Our VP Technology not only ‘gets it’, blogging on software development topics such as the value of unit testing, but he has the type of solid experience in both Software Development as well as Product Management, that is very helpful as we build a fun and collaborative company culture.”
“I came to Wolters Kluwer with 10 years’ experience and have been on board a little under a year. I responded to a job posting on Linked In. A typical day in the life would include working with my team to plan a cool feature in the next release, interviewing a prospective software developer, meeting an extended team or cross-functional team member that will be working closely with my team. There really isn’t a typical day. Activities are varied and wide ranging. I could find myself joining in the Agile ceremonies, working on a team building event, planning and orchestrating Code Games, volunteering on a STEM activity, or visiting a customer to see and understand how they are using our products. We are building a fun, collaborative, and professional software development culture where smart, humble, and passionate team members work together on challenging problems.

Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Software Development provides a great opportunity for new employees to leverage their industry experience, make recommendations for improvements, and work together with really friendly and smart people to improve our business! We have just recently hosted the coolest Code Games (software coding competition) ever! (as acknowledged by Forbes) And our VP of Technology not only gets it, blogging on software development topics such as the value of unit testing, but he has solid experience in both Software Development as well as Product Management, which is very helpful as we build a fun and collaborative company culture.”

“Any day at Wolters Kluwer can be fun, different, and challenging.”
“I came to Wolters Kluwer with 15 years' experience. I have been with Wolters Kluwer for 3 years. I was referred by an employee and recruited to join the organization's Tax and Accounting Division. As Chief Architect within the Software Development organization my priority is to define and govern technical architecture for the Wolters Kluwer CCH Axcess Suite as well as to define and ship large-scale enterprise applications via Cloud, Desktop and Mobility.

Any day at Wolters Kluwer can be fun, different, and challenging. A typical day could be meeting with product focused agile team peers internationally and across the US, reviewing technical documents and code, meeting with my team to discuss strategy, career, and status on key items.

At Wolters Kluwer there is a results focused approach to efforts so there is clarity in direction and focus. By empowering employees to focus on solutions with the customer in mind, the end results are better for the employees in supporting their unique career aspirations and for the customer in answering needs. Working closely with product management, technical leaders, and senior leadership provides a 360 view in terms of different roles and responsibilities. I always feel I can pick up the phone, email, or IM a colleague with a question, comment or feedback, to facilitate getting to the best idea and solution.

It is possible at Wolters Kluwer to make a difference through technology and to make positive change happen. It is not just a job.”

“As a Quality Assurance Engineer my top priority is to always aim for good practices and a quality product release. Perfection is not possible, but it should be the goal.”
“I came to Wolters Kluwer with 2 years industry experience. I have been with Wolters Kluwer for 2 years. I answered a job advertisement and was subsequently recruited. As a Quality Assurance Engineer my top priority is to always aim for good practices and a quality product release. Perfection is not possible, but it should be the goal.

One of my favorite quotes - without proper attitude, skill is nothing. I am well known among coworkers for my passion and positive energy that I spread everywhere I go. Having an approach like that lightens the mood and helps me focus on getting the technical message across with a positive attitude and proof to support my case.

I am a tireless advocate for quality and good practices in software development. Every day I am being provided with the opportunity to help make our software better and because of the transparency and collaboration between teams it is not hard to find out about issues that our clients might face and make sure to address those accordingly. It is exciting to encounter new technological challenges and even more satisfying when I see how many opportunities there are to brainstorm with the right people.

Enriching others by bringing a different perspective to the table leads to a more thorough problem solving process. Since I work in multiple teams, for me it is very important to be a good communicator. I like to keep all parties involved and on the same page. Also, Wolters Kluwer provides me with opportunities to connect with likeminded individuals within the company at any geographical location.

Having passionate people like me in a role of a QA Engineer is a gain for both Wolters Kluwer and the individuals. As professionals we are given a working environment we can thrive in - we work in agile teams, our mentors are very knowledgeable in their fields of expertise, and we are always challenging norms and creating new ways to solve problems efficiently. Why wouldn’t anyone want to join us? I encourage you to look deeper into our company values and goals. We as employees work hard to live up to those expectations and make our products better and our company even more successful.”
