Our global innovation events
Code Games
For our software developers around the world, we organize an annual coding competition, Code Games (CG), in which engineers have two days to solve a coding challenge.
Code Games is a fun and intense software development competition for employees worldwide that welcomes cross-functional collaboration across divisions. This event is a key part of our innovation journey, encouraging creativity and collaboration among our employees. Participants build working software prototypes, increasingly integrating AI and agentic capabilities to explore early-stage ideas, contributing to the company's culture of continuous innovation. Non-technologists can also participate as a part of a team, a consultant, on-site event coordinator, judging panel host, or event judge. By participating in Code Games, our employees play a crucial role in driving the technological advancements that keep Wolters Kluwer at the forefront of the industry.
Global Innovation Awards
Introduced in 2011, Global Innovation Awards (GIA) is Wolters Kluwer's largest innovation showcase. With over 1,700 participants across 25 countries, the initiative recognizes and celebrates the ingenuity and creativity of our employees.
The program provides a collaborative and inclusive environment where employees from different divisions and functions come together to develop innovative, AI-powered and agentic solutions that combine deep expertise with advanced technology. It plays a vital role in driving our company’s growth, strengthening our competitive position, and advancing the next generation of expert solutions.
